20th Annual Holiday Shopping Open House

HSOH blog 1 small imgQuilts, and goodies, and gifts—oh my!

This year’s Holiday Shopping Open House promises to be our most exciting yet! And it should be—we’ve had twenty years of practice.

Excitement is mounting: raffle tickets for 4 different quilts are already selling. Have you seen the quilts yet? They are on display at the Redwood Falls Public Library where you can buy your tickets for a donation of $1 each, or 6 for $5. Grand prize winner will receive her choice of the two queen size quilts. Two other names will be drawn for a Christmas wall-hanging and a smaller quilted throw. You just have to stop by the Library to see the beautiful handiwork of Lois Kirschstein and Marilyn Miller.

Something new this year: We are inviting all those who attend the Open House to bring a new toy or gift for our Baby Buck Boutique. These items will be available for our clients to “purchase” with the Baby Bucks they earn by learning good parenting skills through our Earn While You Learn program.

So... bring your friends and join us on Saturday, November 15 from 10:00 – 2:00 p.m. at St. Catherine's Catholic Church. (Click here for a map to the church.) Warm up with a satisfying lunch of homemade soup, barbeques, chips, and homemade pie. Then take your cider or coffee in hand and stroll along the displays of our local vendors. You’ll find some great gift ideas, and maybe something you really must have. Vendors will offer products ranging from essential oils, cosmetics, and jewelry to housewares, food items, and soaps. Each of these vendors will donate a percentage of all your purchases to support Choices Pregnancy Center:

 > Tastefully Simple     > Tupperware     > Norwex
> Daisy Blue Naturals     > Pampered Chef     > Watkins
>Mary Kay     > Fuller     > Lia Sophia Jewelry
> Young Living Essential Oils     > Younique

You’ll go home with half your Christmas shopping finished, knowing you’ve enabled Choices to keep serving the women of Redwood Falls!
